Yaltah Menuhin; Concert Pianist, Younger Sister of Famed Violinist

Pianist Yaltah Menuhin died in England on June 9 at the age of 79. The younger sister of Yehudi Menuhin, she occasionally performed with him as well as with her pianist sister, Hephzibah. At Yehudi's 50th birthday concert at the Royal Festival Hall in London in 1966, he conducted the Mozart Concerto for three piano's with his sisters and his son Jeremy as soloists. Yaltah's final recital, at a school in Ipswich, England, took place three days before she died.
